0.64.0 22 Oct 2026 Latest

Right-click the minimap button to unlock and move your frames. Thanks for the idea!

Setup

  • Right-click the minimap button to unlock your frames and move them without opening the setup window, and right-click again to lock them. The Move bar goes away when a fight starts.
0.63.1 21 Oct 2026

Shamans, Quick Buff now knows when your weapon enchant is on.

Fixes

  • Shamans: Quick Buff no longer keeps offering your weapon enchant while it's on. It now shows up when the enchant is off or about to run out, like armors and other buffs on you.
0.63.0 20 Oct 2026

Hover a player and HealKit now shows what your mouse buttons and keys cast on them, so you never have to remember your setup. Thanks for the idea!

Healing

  • Hover a player and a small card beside your frames shows what your mouse buttons and keys cast on them, like Left: Heal. Hold Shift, Ctrl or Alt and it switches to that row. On a dead player it shows the resurrect your spells cast instead. Know your setup by heart? Untick Show your spells when you hover a player, under the grid on the Healing tab.

Buffs

  • The Buffs tab now points at the Quick Buff key button the first time you open it without a key set.
  • The Quick Buff button's tooltip now opens beside the button instead of above it, names your key when you have one, and stops explaining itself once you've used the button (the keybind tip stays for your first few uses, and your reagents always show).

Fixes

  • The first-time tips on the Healing and Details tabs no longer cover the text next to what they point at, or get cut off.
  • The Healing tab no longer shows a scrollbar when there's nothing to scroll.
0.62.0 19 Oct 2026

You can now put your own macros on a click, see each player's health as a number, a percentage or both, color the bars by how much health they have left, and keep Blizzard's frames next to HealKit's if you like. Debuffs you can't remove now show on the frames too. Thanks everyone for all the requests!

Healing

  • Your own macros on a click: right-click a slot, Macros, and pick one from your macro list, or drag it in from the game's macro window. Its spells go to the player you click, no [@mouseover] needed, and edits or renames in the macro window carry over after the fight. Hover the slot and HealKit says what the macro does, line by line, in plain words; what lands on the player you click shows in green. French commands like /lancer work too.
  • Hovering the Target and Menu slots now says what they do.

Frames

  • Enemy debuffs you can't remove now show too, bottom left after the one you can dispel: boss debuffs (gold trim), stuns, big damage over time (grey trim). Details tab: Dispellable debuff is now Enemy debuffs, one size for the whole row, and "Only the ones you can dispel" keeps it as before. When someone has two debuffs you can dispel, the boss one now shows first.
  • Details tab: "Buffs and debuffs" is now "Your buffs and debuffs", and the icon settings sit together: Role, yours, Missing buffs, Enemy debuffs.
  • Health text can now show the player's health (1234), or health and percent together (1234 (62%)).
  • Frames tab: "Also show Blizzard's group frames" keeps Blizzard's party and raid frames on screen next to HealKit's.
  • Health color moved to the Frames tab, under Look: Class color, Green, or new, By health: green at full, yellow at half, red when low.
  • The five-second rule moved to Highlights, with the other lights on the frames.

Buffs

  • Priests: Quick Buff now gives Divine Spirit before Shadow Protection.

Fixes

  • Your target's white trim now stays while they have aggro, and the aggro shows through its glow around the frame (before, the white went away).
  • Target, Menu and macros you pick up now go away when you right-click outside a slot, like a spell does. Before, they stayed on your cursor until you dropped them on a slot.
  • Icon corners now line up with their small trim at every icon size, and the Healing tab's spell icons follow their slot's rounded corners.
  • The missing buff marks are now solid and sit fully above a long health text, like the other icons.
  • Quick Buff no longer offers a buff to someone wearing a higher rank than you know: your cast can't replace it, so it waits until theirs ends.
0.61.0 18 Oct 2026

Go borderless, heal your target from its own frame, and a Healing tab with room for 12 keys, enough for any MMO mouse. Plus new role icons and simpler settings, from your requests!

Healing

  • The Healing tab's grid is turned around: your mouse buttons and keys go down the side, Shift, Ctrl and Alt across the top, so it holds up to 12 keys of your own (was 4), enough for a 12-button MMO mouse. When the rows don't fit on your screen, they scroll.
  • Target and Menu slots use the same icons as the game's own click-casting window.

Frames

  • New role icons for tanks, healers and damage: Blizzard's flat ones, easier to read at a glance.
  • Bronze trim can now go to Off: a thin dark border, and the bars fill the frame. Aggro and dispels color the border.
  • Space between frames now starts at 0. With Bronze trim Off, 0 gives one shared thin border between frames, the borderless look negative values used to fake. If you had a negative value, it's now 0.
  • The settings preview now shows your real casts: click a frame in the preview to see your heal coming and landing, its mana cost, Renew's ticks and shields.
  • Show your target (Frames tab, off by default): a frame for a friendly player or NPC outside your group, so your clicks heal and buff them too. Put it above your frames, or in its own frame with its own Move bar, anywhere on screen.
  • Your current target's frame gets a white outline, like Blizzard's own frames (Details tab, Target: Off to turn it off). The Aggro, Dispel and Target sliders now have a Border step: the color on the frame's edge only, no glow around it.

Buffs

  • The marks for missing buffs moved to the Details tab, next to the other icons: Missing buffs sets their size, or Off. Your choice carries over.
  • On the Buffs tab, Quick Buff is one choice now: Off, your group, or your group and your target.
  • Quick Buff can look after your target too (Buffs tab, Quick Buff: Your group and target): a friendly player outside your group gets your buffs once your group has all of theirs.

Setup

  • Fewer settings: Blizzard's group frames now hide by themselves while HealKit's frames show, and come back when they don't (Show frames: Never, or a group size where HealKit is off). The minimap button's checkbox is gone too: /kit minimap hides or shows it.
  • The Quick Buff key is simply called Quick Buff in the game's Key Bindings and messages.

Fixes

  • The rez icon shows again while you resurrect someone: Forever doesn't tell addons a rez is on the way, so HealKit now follows your own resurrection casts.
  • Clicking a frame in the settings preview casts on you again, like before 0.60.0.
  • The five-second rule's light stays gold while you have aggro or a dispellable debuff (it turned pink over the red).
  • Quick Buff now rebuffs someone wearing a lower rank of your buff (Fortitude rank 1 on someone, when you know a stronger one): before, any rank counted as buffed.
0.60.0 17 Oct 2026

Give Solo, Party and Raid their own layout, and HealKit switches by itself when your group changes. It's also much lighter: about 10 times less CPU when you stand around, 20 times faster to load and a third of the memory. Plus Quick Buff and Self Cast fixes, thanks to your feedback!

Frames

  • A layout per group size: on Frames or Details, click "Per group size" and Solo, Party and Raid each get their own settings. HealKit switches by itself when your group changes (after a fight if it changes mid-fight).
  • The settings tabs are now Frames (size, border, where they go) and Details (text, icons, colors, glows), and both show everything on the preview. Moving Aggro glow or Dispel glow shows it on your own frame while you adjust it.
  • Per group size, Show frames and Pet frames are simple checkboxes: turn HealKit off for parties and keep it for raids, or the other way round. Settings that do nothing when solo are grayed out on the Solo tab.
  • Frames now update the moment something changes (health, mana, heals on the way, buffs, aggro), so health shows exactly on time and nothing runs while nothing changes. About 10 times less CPU when you stand around.
  • Much faster login: HealKit now takes under a tenth of a second to load, about 20 times faster.
  • About a third of the memory: under 2 MB solo, and it barely grows while you play.

Buffs

  • Quick Buff checks when someone's buffs change instead of twice a second, much lighter in a raid.

Setup

  • Target and Menu slots now move like spells: click or drag them to pick them up, then drop them on another slot.
  • Mac: the Cmd row starts hidden (turn it on in Keys > Modifier keys), and when the game turns Cmd + left-click into a right-click, the Cmd / Left slot is dimmed and says how to turn that off.
  • Reset asks first in the window and says exactly what it resets; the Frames tab's Reset also puts your frames back at their default spot. Every tab has its Reset in the same place, and the Healing tab's Spellbook button moved next to Keys.
  • Hide Blizzard's group frames and the minimap button moved to the Buffs tab.
  • The settings window opens smoothly: its first preview no longer freezes the game for a moment.
  • New first-time tips on the Frames and Details tabs: Scale, the preview, per group size and icon sizes, one at a time.

Fixes

  • If the game's Self Cast key (Alt by default) is on a row you use, the Healing tab now tells you those spells land on you, with a button to set Self Cast to Auto.
  • Druids: Omen of Clarity is passive in Forever, so Quick Buff no longer asks you to cast it.
  • Quick Buff no longer gets stuck on someone who already has a stronger version of your buff (a higher rank from another player): it moves on to the others.
  • Paladins: Salvation is no longer a blessing in Forever, so it left the blessing choices and is now its own Quick Buff buff (Buffs tab, off by default, never on tanks).
  • The dispel color now also colors the line between the health and power bars, like the aggro color.
  • The rez icon (someone resurrecting a dead player) and the summon icons show again: they drew nothing on Forever.
0.59.0 16 Oct 2026

A new look to match the beta's new player frame, plus missing health, a Scale setting and more of your requests.

Frames

  • New look: the frames now use the bronze trim from Blizzard's brand new player frame.
  • Aggro and dispel glows now also color the frame's trim: red for aggro, and the debuff's color for something you can dispel.
  • Buff and debuff icons get a small bronze trim of their own.
  • Health text on the Display tab: Off, Percent or Missing health, a number like -354 that shows how much a heal can fill.
  • Text position now moves the name and the health text together.
  • Frames grow (Layout tab): pick the corner your frames grow from, handy if they sit on the right or at the bottom of your screen.
  • Offline players get a dark bar and a gray name, so they never look like someone out of range.

Buffs

  • Quick Buff gets the bronze trim too, with its spell icon set into the frame.

Setup

  • Scale (Layout tab): make all your frames bigger or smaller at once, without changing their shape.
  • Bronze trim (Display tab): choose how bright the trim is.
  • Space between frames can now go below 0, so the frames overlap.
  • Buff and debuff icons can now go up to 24.

Fixes

  • Names in Cyrillic, Korean or Chinese now show on the frames.
0.58.0 15 Oct 2026

Pet frames, plus fixes from your feedback: HoTs that no longer vanish from the bar, a choice of who gets Thorns, and Quick Buff fixes.

Frames

  • Pet frames: hunter and warlock pets get a narrower frame next to their owner in a party, and in a raid they get their own column after the groups. You can heal, HoT and dispel them like anyone else.
  • Choose where pets show in the Layout tab: in a party, in a party and raid, or not at all.
  • Your HoTs no longer disappear from the bar when something changes in your group (someone joins, the leader or a role changes).
  • Shields now come before your HoTs on the bar, so the HoT segment fades out at the end instead of running into the shield.

Buffs

  • Druids: choose who gets Thorns on the Buffs tab: only you, your tanks or everyone.
  • Quick Buff no longer skips someone for a few seconds right after buffing them, so their next missing buff comes up straight away.
  • Quick Buff no longer flashes "everyone needs a buff" for a split second when the tank pulls.

Setup

  • Better first steps: the Healing tab now shows you the Keys menu, where you add Mouse 4 and 5, the mouse wheel or any key you want.

Fixes

  • Holy Nova now shows in the spell list, so you can put it on a click like your other heals.
0.57.0 14 Oct 2026

See how much healing your HoTs still have to give, right on the frames.

Frames

  • Your HoTs on the bar: a green segment fading to the right shows the healing your HoTs still have to give.
0.56.0 13 Oct 2026

Quick Buff without the frames for any class that buffs, a new bronze look, and two mana tools for healers.

Frames

  • New look: a dark bronze rim with rounded corners, matching the setup window's copper, and a bronze line between the health and power bars. The bars now fill the frame up to the rim, and their small rounded corners stay the same at every frame size. The overheal, shield and aggro glows follow the new corners.
  • Mana cost preview: while you cast, the mana the spell will spend shows lighter at the end of your own power bar, like Blizzard's player frame.
  • Five-second rule (optional, Layout tab): after you spend mana, the bronze line between your own bars lights up from left to right over 5 seconds. When it's lit to the end, your mana regeneration is back.

Buffs

  • Quick Buff without the frames: on the Layout tab, set Show frames to Never to keep only the Quick Buff button and its key. Works for any class that buffs (mage, druid, priest, paladin). Blizzard's own party and raid frames come back in that mode.
  • Thorns now shows in Quick Buff when you're solo or the group has no tank, and goes on you. With a tank in the group, it goes on the tank.

Setup

  • "Show your frame while solo" is now Show frames: Always, In a group or Never, and your old choice carries over. The setup preview follows it. Choosing Never unticks "Hide Blizzard's group frames"; switching back ticks it again if it was on.
  • Mana bar is now called Power bar (it shows mana, energy or rage in its own color) and moved to the Layout tab.
0.55.1 12 Oct 2026

Better paladin blessing defaults, and a preview that matches your real frames.

Buffs

  • Paladin blessings: druids, shamans and paladins who aren't healing now get Might by default (their healers still get Wisdom through the Healers line). Hunters get Wisdom: Might only adds melee attack power.

Setup

  • The setup window's title names the addon on every tab: HealKit · Healing, Buffs, Layout, Display.
  • Display tab preview: the sample buffs on the stand-ins are now short ones (Renew, Power Infusion, Abolish Disease) with running timers, like your real frames show. Long buffs such as Fortitude never get an icon.
0.55.0 11 Oct 2026

First public release, for the World of Warcraft Forever beta.

Healing

  • Click-casting on party and raid frames: mouse buttons 1 to 5, plain or with Shift, Ctrl, Alt (Option) and Cmd.
  • Each slot casts an exact rank, or "Highest rank" to always use your best.
  • Ready-made setups for priests, paladins, druids and shamans, upgrading as you learn new ranks.
  • The same click resurrects a dead player out of combat.
  • Mouseover healing (optional): the mouse wheel and up to 4 keys cast on the frame under your cursor.

Frames

  • Up to 40 players, in class colors, with mana, names, roles and range fade.
  • Incoming heals, shields, overheal in steps, aggro glow, and dispellable debuffs with a colored glow.
  • Your HoTs and debuffs in the corners; dead, offline, rez and summon icons.
  • Health % on each frame (Display tab, off by default).
  • Blizzard's party and raid frames are hidden (optional), and come back while Edit Mode is open.

Buffs

  • Quick Buff: a button and a keybind that cast the next missing buff on the right person, including group buffs.
  • Paladin blessings chosen per class, with tanks and healers by role.
  • Marks on the frames show who is missing a buff.

Setup

  • Looks like part of Forever's own interface: built from Blizzard's art, windows, tabs and menus.
  • One window with Healing, Buffs, Layout and Display tabs, short "How it works" tips, and a live preview (Solo, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 40 players).
  • English and French.
